Now you are going to perform 15 rounds of a lottery task. You will also be playing for real money in this task. One out of the fifteen rounds will be randomly selected for your payment in the end.

In this task, you are going to see pictures of bags of chips. Each bag is filled with 100 chips and correspond to one, real bag of chips that the experimenter has with them. Some of the chips in the bag are red and some of them are blue.

The red and blue areas of the bag, as well as the numbers inside the areas, represent the relative numbers of red and blue chips. The numbers next to these areas represent the sums of money you could win if a chip of that color were drawn. For example:

This bag contains 25 red chips and 75 blue chips. You will win $18 if you draw a red chip from the bag, and win $0 if you draw a blue chip from the bag.
