    Instructions: The Additions Task

<center><strong>Remember that for the entire study you have been randomly assigned to be the "Performer" </strong>  </center> <br>
    <li> For each round, you will be randomly paired with a <strong>Decider</strong>, who is a fellow Prolific participant. </li> <br>
    <li> You will perform 7 additions in 45 seconds. Each addition consists of three two-digit numbers.</li> <br>
    <li> Below is an example of the addition task:</li>

<li> The number of correct additions you perform in a round will directly affect the payment your paired <strong>Decider</strong> gets. The Decider can either get a high payment or a low payment,
    and the probability of getting a high payment depends on your performance in that round. </li><br>
    <li> Each correct addition by you increases the probability that the Decider gets a high payment. For example: </li> <br>

    <li> Your paired Decider will learn about their payment, and will NOT be informed of how many additions
    you performed correctly in that round. </li> <br>

<li> Your Decider will then decide how much to pay you. The Decider will divide <strong>{{ separate_pot }}</strong> between you and another randomly chosen
             Performer from the study. Any unassigned money will go back to researchers and therefore will
             NOT be kept by the Decider. </li> <br>
