We are asking you to participate in a research study. We will describe this study to you and answer any of your questions.  This study is being led by Cristina Bicchieri, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania.

What the study is about
</h4>
<p>
The purpose of this research is to learn about social decision-making.
We will ask you to complete a brief initial survey and then iteratively choose colors from a list of three (green, purple, and yellow) alongside other members of your assigned group.
</p>

Risks and discomforts
</h4>
<p>
We do not anticipate any risks from participating in this research.
</p>

Benefits 
</h4>
<p>
Information from this study may benefit other people now or in the future by providing useful insights about decision-making in groups.
</p>

Compensation for participation 
</h4>
<p>
Subjects will be compensated between $5 and $12 for their participation. 
</p>

Privacy/Confidentiality/Data Security
</h4>

The data collected will not be identifiable and cannot be linked to you personally. Any data we collect will be stored in a password protected folder to which only the researchers have access.
We anticipate that your participation in this experiment presents no greater risk than everyday use of a computer.

Sharing De-identified Data Collected in this Research

De-identified data from this study may be shared with the research community at large to advance science. No one will be able to identify you from the information we share.
Taking part is voluntary
Your participation in this research is voluntary. You have the right to withdraw at any point during the study, for any reason, and without any prejudice.
