You will choose either A or B. If you choose B, the computer will virtually flip a coin to decide whether you double your original payoff or end stage 1 with $8. Coins have a 50% chance of coming up heads and a 50% chance of coming up tails. Note that if you choose B it is possible to end up with less than the amount from the first coin flip.
