You are about to participate in a study on problem solving. Please read the instructions carefully.
You will be paid for participating in this study. In total, this session should last approximately 60 minutes.

No one will be able to associate your responses in today’s study with you personally. Responses will only be
attributable to your unique participation ID.

<strong>You are prohibited from using a cell phone, a pen/pencil, paper, or any other outside materials during this session.</strong>

If you have any questions at any time during today’s session, please raise your hand. The administrator will answer
your question in private. Please do not communicate with anyone other than the administrator after this point.

In this experiment, you will complete a math task for 12 rounds, which will determine your pay. After the 12 rounds, you
will answer a list of questions.
