        <p>For your task, you will
        subtract two-digit numbers from three-digit numbers. For example, 430 - 82 can be solved as 348. You will do
        the calculations mentally. That is, you will not be allowed to use pens/pencils, paper, calculators, or any
            other outside tools to solve the problems. </p>

        <p>You will answer the questions by adjusting a slider
        along a scrollbar from 0 to 500 to the answer. Therefore, you must first solve a math problem and then adjust
            the slider to the number position that matches the answer to the corresponding math problem.
        To adjust the slider you may use both the mouse and arrow keys.</p>

<p>You will have five minutes to complete this task. You will receive 25 cents for every slider you complete.
    This amount will be added as earnings to your $5 show-up fee.</p>

<p><strong>After you complete this task, participants in the <span style="color:orange;">first row</span> will
    learn if your score is among the top two scores in <span style="color:green;">your row</span>.</strong></p>
<p>While you complete this task, participants in rows <span style="color:orange;">one</span> and
    <span style="color:blue;">two</span> will receive instructions related to the second stage of your task.</p>
