Time & Pay Today. Today’s pre-survey takes about 5–10 minutes. You will receive a guaranteed $1.00 for completing it. In addition, you will have the choice to allocate money between yourself and a charity. One of your allocation decisions will be randomly selected for real payment, so you will earn at least an additional $0.50.
What You Will Do. First, you will make a series of resource allocation choices (between you and a charity). Then you will answer a short set of survey questions. At the end, you will choose one of three charities to receive any applicable donation from your randomly selected decision.
Later Study (Optional). In 1–2 weeks, we may invite you to a main study (about 15 minutes) with a fixed $2.00 payment plus additional pay based on decisions in the study. Participation is optional.
