<p class="text-danger">Please note that you are paired with another person for this study. Please complete the
  <u>entire study</u> and do not stop or exit during the study. There will be 'dropout checks' throughout the study
    to ensure you and your partner are still actively participating. This is to make sure that you or your partner
  won't be waiting too long if one of you drops out. Therefore, <u>please wait</u> on the wait pages in today's session
   - it should not be for long.

It is important that you understand all the instructions because the amount of money you earn will depend on
your understanding of the instructions and the choices you make during the experiment.<br><br>

For this experiment we will use an experimental currency called “Lira”.
The Lira you earn will be converted into dollars and you will be paid within the next week
or two of your completion of the study. Every 50 Lira you earn will be converted into $1.00. <br><br>

<i>Regardless of the outcome of the study, you will receive a participation fee of $1.00.</i>

In today’s session, you will be paired with another participant and  engage in a decision-making task for 7 rounds.
You will remain in this pairing for every round. Each pairing (Manager and Employee) represents a business,
and each round represents a project. The manager funds the project and the employee oversees the project.

The decisions you make will affect both members of the pairing’s earnings so it is important that you read
and understand all instructions. Your payment will be based on one randomly selected round from rounds 1 through 7,
so you should treat round as if it will be the round used for payment.<br><br>
On the next screen you will receive instructions specific to your role.
