Title of study: Decision-making study

Length of study: About 15-20 minutes.

Payment: A minimum payment of $1.25 plus a bonus of up to $1.70. The total you can earn is $2.95. The bonus depends on your decision, the decisions of another participant and luck.

What is this study about: This study is about decision making and it involves interacting with another participant. Participants first need to correctly answer all the questions of a quiz to qualify for receiving the minimum payment of $1.25. The instructions and the quiz will likely take a significant portion of the total time spent completing this HIT.

Voluntary participation and confidentiality: Participation in this study is entirely voluntary, and may be withdrawn at any given moment without further consequences. All decisions will be made anonymously. The results will only be analyzed at the group level for publication in scientific journals.

Browser compatibility: The HIT will not work on Internet Explorer and mobile devices.

Risks: To our knowledge, there are no risks involved in participating in this survey.
