Instructions

In this study, you will be in a randomly formed group of {{ Constants.players_per_group }} participants. You are going to play with the same group for {{Constants.num_rounds}} rounds. The group is composed by {{player.galera}}. You assume the role of {{player.role}} in your group.

Each participant in the group is given {{ Constants.endowment }} points. The group has the opportunity to undertake a joint project. The joint project consists on two stages:

• FIRST STAGE: Each participant in the group decides how much she or he is going to contribute to the project. Contribution could be any integer from 0 to {{ Constants.endowment }}. The contributions of all {{ Constants.players_per_group }} participants are added up, the total contribution is multiplied by a factor of {{ Constants.multiplier }}, and the resulting amount is the total earnings from the project. This value is evenly split among all {{ Constants.players_per_group }} participants: {{player.galera}}.


• SECOND STAGE: The participants see each other's contributions to the project and can give punishment to each other. You can give up to 10 punishment units in total for the other participants. Each unity of punishment given by you to another participant reduces your payoff in 1, but also reduces the other participant's payoff in {{ Constants.punmulti }}.

In conclusion, the total earnings of the project are calculated as follows: The contributions of all {{ Constants.players_per_group }} participants are added up, the total contribution is multiplied by a factor of {{ Constants.multiplier }}, the resulting amount is the total earnings from the project, which is evenly split among all {{ Constants.players_per_group }} participants. From this value, it is subtracted 1 unity for each unity of punishment given by you to the others and subtracted 2 unities for each punishment received by you. The earnings cannot reduce below zero.

Your payoff equals the total earnings from the project, plus the amount you did not contribute.
