The next session is composed of 5 tasks. In each of these tasks, you will be provided with a series of letters, and be asked to enter the corresponding number knowing that to any letter corresponds a specific number from 0 to 9. See below an example:

  • You are given the following encryption key: H = 5, U = 7, T = 2
  • The following letter series is displayed: "H H H U U H T H T T T U H H U"
  • You should enter the corresponding numbers: "5 5 5 7 7 5 2 5 2 2 2 7 5 5 7"
  • After each task, you will be provided with a feedback reporting which letters you decrypted correctly. Please note that the encryption key will stay the same throughout the entire experiment.

    In the next page, you will be given the encryption key, which contains the letter-number correspondence for all or some of the letters that you will encounter during the task.

    If, during the task, you encounter letters for which you don't know the corresponding number, you can try to guess it by entering a number from 0 to 9.

    Once you decode the whole letter series, click the Next button.

    This part is a trial round composed of 5 tasks, in which you will familiarize with the task. In the next sessions, your compensation will be based on performance, and on how many letters you can decode. {{ next_button }} {{ endblock }}
