{{ block title }} Introduction {{ endblock }} {{ block content }}

This study consists of two parts. In the first part, which takes two minutes, you have to quickly arrange sliders to a specific value. Admittedly, this part is tedious, but for this part you earn a bonus payment, which is paid to you after the experiment. The bonus payment can increase your final payment by up to 80%. The more sliders you arrange correctly, the higher is your chance of receiving a high bonus payment. The second part also affects your bonus payment and will be explained after the first part is finished.

During the study, your bonus is calculated in tokens rather than pounds. After the study, your final bonus will then be converted into pounds, whereby the following exchange rate applies:
1 £ = 1,000 tokens.
The bonus payment will usually be added to your account within 48 hours after the study.

This study is part of a larger research project regarding work and effort, which is conducted by Prof. Dr. Michael Kurschilgen and Gabriel Vollert from the Technical University of Munich. If you have any questions on the study, feel free to contact us via email under gabriel.vollert@tum.de.

We are researchers trying to improve the knowledge about attitudes towards work and effort. It is vitally important for the success of our research that you read the questions and instructions very carefully before answering.
