    <p>
        In this part, we will show you three data charts that you have already seen in one of the earlier tasks.
    </p>

    <p>
        The three charts will appear one below the other and correspond to a case where you saw 5 data points, 10 data points and 50 data points.
    </p>

    <p>
        The charts will show you two functions, the one that you submitted (Your submission) and a line that is the average of observed y values (Average of the y values).
    </p>

    <ul>
        <li>Average of the y values: the interface computes the average value of y for all observed points.</li>
    </ul>

    <p>
        For each of the three charts, your task is to indicate the minimum payment you would require to replace your submission with the average of the y values. Enter an amount between $0 and $10 in the cell under each chart.
    </p>

    <ul>
        <li>Higher entered amounts indicate a stronger expectation that <strong>your submission will outperform the average of the y values</strong>.</li>
    </ul>

    <p>
        Here is exactly how we will pay you (for this additional task).
    </p>

    <ul>
        <li>Note that the payment rule ensures that it is always in your best interest to truthfully report the minimum amount you would be willing to accept to switch your submission to the average of the y values.</li>
        <li>In other words, <strong>the higher the amount you enter, the more we would need to pay you to convince you to switch, thus indicating that you have greater confidence in your original submission</strong>.</li>
    </ul>

    <p>
        For each of the three charts, you will specify an amount <strong>W</strong>—the minimum bonus you would accept to <strong>switch your submission</strong> to the <strong>average of the y values</strong>.
    </p>

    <p>
        After you submit your choice of <strong>W</strong>, the computer will randomly draw a number <strong>Z</strong> between <strong>0</strong> and <strong>10</strong>, with all values equally likely.
    </p>

    <ul>
        <li><strong>If Z ≥ W</strong>, your submission will <strong>be replaced by the average of the y values.</strong> <br>
        If this chart is selected for payment, your payment for that task will be <strong>based on the average of the y values,</strong> and you will <strong>receive an additional $Z</strong>.</li>
    </ul>
        

    <ul>
        <li><strong>If Z &lt; W,</strong> your submission will <strong>not be replaced.</strong><br>
        If this chart is selected for payment, your payment will be <strong>based on your original submission</strong>, and you will <strong>NOT receive an additional $Z.</strong></li>
