For what seems like months, Sheamus has showed up on Raw to
beat the crap out of whichever unlucky midcard heel gets thrown to him, whether
it's Jack Swagger, Jinder Mahal or this week's poor sap, The Miz. The match was
really just a way to set Miz up for a water bottle-based attack from R-Truth,
which leaves me wondering: What the hell is WWE doing with Sheamus?
The promotion has spent a fair amount of time and money
building Sheamus up since his debut, so it seems odd that they're just letting
him kick around the midcard these days. Things aren't even much better on
Sheamus' home brand of SmackDown,
where this past week he got in a brief argument with Heath Slater over who the
best redhead is (the answer, of course, is the Undertaker). I like watching
Sheamus do that bazillion forearm move of his every week, I just wish it was
about something.
