Sure, his name sounds like a cheesy gunslinger from a Sergio Leone film. But Billy West has a legacy that even the Man With No Name would be jealous of: in the role of Stimpy, he helped permanently twist the psyches of millions of impressionable children.
Of course, messing up the lives of kids isn't reason enough to land on this list, otherwise your Dad would probably be here too. But besides playing Stimpy, Billy West has another batch of impressive credentials in his bottomless credential sack - he played many of the major characters in Futurama, including Philip J. Fry and Dr. Zoidberg and he's also had stints providing the voices for classic characters such as Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Woody Woodpecker and Shaggy.
In the end, though, it all comes down to Fry and Stimpy - legacy enough for any man, alive or dead.
