This is the seventh planet in the Dundra system, known for its 11-hour days. It was once the home of the Aplans, all of whom are now considered extinct. These strange denizens were famous for building large and elaborate burial chambers, known as the Mazes of Death. As a favor to River Song, the Doctor and Amy visit this planet to help recover the fallen ship, Byzantium, that crashed somewhere in the Maze of Death.
