Peri Brown's adventure starts off with a bang. She meets the Doctor, the Master and the Master's shape-shifter robot, Chameleon, all in one day. Like the Doctor's other companions, she proves herself in a fight against the Master. The fifth Doctor is more than happy to bring her along, but there's a problem. He regenerates into a much surlier, meaner form. This Doctor doesn't care much for Peri. He constantly berates and belittles her, as he does most people. But Peri persists and the two eventually form a strong bond. Oh, and her full name is Perpugilliam Brown. Don't try to pronounce it.
