"Five foot two, eyes of blue!" It's doubtful that old song was written with the thought that one day Emilie de Ravin would walk amoung us mere mortals, but it should've been. The description fits her perfectly, and she's pretty much perfect herself, a raving Australian beauty who isn't afraid to get down and dirty in the sand and filth in The Hills Have Eyes. Emilie plays Brenda Carter, the middle child of the Carter Clan and its resident Scream Queen, an angel scarred after being attacked by mutant mountain men, down but not out as she and her brother plot sweet, sweet revenge for the horrific murders of their parents and older sister.
It isn't all blood and grime for Emilie in The Hills Have Eyes. She finds some time to work on her tan, too (she is in the desert, after all). Take a look at some of Emilie's most striking moments in Alexandre Aja's nifty horror remake.

Naps are commonplace during road trips, and encouraged as long as you're not the one driving. Here's Emilie as she returns from a sweet jaunt to Slumberland, not particularly amused but not particularly angry, either.

"Pigs, pigs, everywhere, all over the place!" You encounter all sorts of strange wildlife while on The Road.

Back on The Road, contemplating the existential aspects of her epic journey. Or maybe she's just mesmerized by all that desert. Or maybe she has to go to the bathroom.

Someone in the vehicle said something funny! Or maybe she's recalling an amusing incident from her youth. Or maybe she's remembering the gentle caress of a former lover. Or maybe she still has to go to the bathroom.

Emilie suddenly becomes irritated with the family vehicle and its blue paint job. Enough of The Road. Time for The Sun! And the sand, and the rocks, and the scorpions, and the snakes...

Wow.

Whoa.

No! Oh... drat!

Emilie smiles as she thinks about all the men she just disappointed by ending her sunbathing session and putting her shirt back on. She'll also soon contemplate having some lemonade from that there green pitcher.

And this is when things start to go really, really bad for the Carter Clan. Emilie unfortunately has to first be a Victim before she can become an Avenger. And Victims in horror movies cry and freak out. A lot.

Emilie reflects on her fallen loved ones. And plots nasty, merciless desert revenge on her freako tormentors. Or she's trying to remember her lines.

Earning her Scream Queen stripes. Her brother is desperately trying to get her to calm down. Or he's attacking her. It's hard to tell when the world has spun into such utter chaos.

Pray you never see anything like this ever in your life. Well, Emilie de Ravin running at you would be a fine sight. Emilie de Ravin running at you while screaming in anger and holding an axe over her head - not so much.

Revenge is sweet. And loud. And blonde.
