Many were dubious that Bruce Willis could step back into the shoes of John McClane, but the old man gets it done in this action-packed sequel. What makes it interesting is that this is one problem that the grizzled supercop can't handle with just his fists, so he needs to protect hacker Matthew Farrell (Justin Long) until he can counteract the devious programming.
