Okay, first let's get this of the way: this movie was directed by Dr. Uwe Boll. But, amazingly, it's one of the man's best, with an excellent cast and a reasonably-sized budget yielding some impressive action sequences. Based on the Dungeon Siege video game in name only, In The Name Of The King is really just a fun-filled fantasy adventure with an awesome power metal soundtrack courtesy of bands like Blind Guardian, Threshold and Hammerfall. And what music goes better with Krug-slaying than serious metal, especially when it's Jason Statham doing the slaying?
