From Emile de Ravin in The Hills Have Eyes to Gina Philips in Jeepers Creepers to Haley Bennett in The Haunting of Molly Hartley, being crowned a Scream Queen is one of the highest honors in the horror community. Bow down, present your gifts and feel free to scream along, 'cause these ladies are cool like that. There have been dozens of Scream Queens over the decades, and here are the ones that will truly Feed Your Fear. Gaze upon their agonized visages and read their terrifying stories, and pray - yes, pray, heathens - that you never end up in a situation like the ones they've experienced. Some of them made it. Some of them... didn't. Here we pay homage to those who survived to scream another night and those who spent their last breath in high pitch.

Alex - Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead

Actually, it takes a while for Alex to actually start screaming in Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead. She's the strong, silent type for most of the film's running time, quietly freaking out about the mad mutant running around the woods without actually letting loose a shriek. She's even pretty cool when her topless friend gets an arrow shot through her breast. However, when Alex is kidnapped by the sadistic Three Finger, being dragged across the forest floor as he takes her to his lair, oh boy, does she hit the decibels. She hits them even more when she gets a look at Deputy Ally Lane, half-skinned and tied up in barbed wire.
