Wade Garrett is a legendary "cooler" whose reputation for being one of the best bouncers in the business precedes him when he arrives in Jasper, Missouri to help his protege James Dalton handle security at the rowdiest bar on the planet, the Double Deuce. Wade's getting old but he's still good in a fight and even better with a verbal zinger - upon witnessing the sign on Dalton's new place of employment, he growls to himself with a grin, "The Double Douche!" Like his pal Dalton, Wade is something of a philosopher himself, quick to offer such existential ditties as "I'll get all the sleep I need when I'm dead" and "That gal's got entirely too many brains to have an ass like that." Unfortunately, Wade's cooling days come to a violent end when he is brutally murdered by minions of the villainous Brad Wesley - one can only hope he's now finally catching up on his sleep.
