Rusty Nail is a murderous truck driver who first staked his claim as King of the Road when he didn't take too kindly to being the butt of a practical joke staged by three youngsters with a CB radio in Joy Ride. Actually, it's doubtful that a veteran trucker like Rusty ever actually believed there was a hot woman waiting for him in a hotel room - he just wanted the kids to think he believed, therefore making them feel all the more like they deserve the reign of terror he brings down on them. Yeah, Rusty Nail's one sick individual, committing gruesome homicides with his monster vehicle and spewin' all sorts of intimidation through the radio with that creepy voice of his. He returns for another gruesome road trip in Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead, terrorizing another group of attractive young people for no particular reason other than he seems to get a kick out of it.
