Dirty Details Done Dirt Cheap:
Rogue was introduced in the X-Men comics as a terrorist member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants under the leadership of her foster mother, Mystique. Her earliest memories were erased but slowly regained as she remembers running away from her over-controlling aunt, who may have coined the name "Rogue" due to her niece's errant behavior. Rogue is constantly at war with herself over her role as a mutant and her ever-interruptive powers - she did, after all, leave her first boyfriend, Cody Robbins, in a coma after just one kiss. Somewhat unfortunately, she usually insists on wearing clothing over every inch of her body so as not to accidentally drain someone's abilities and memories with skin-to-skin contact - this constant torture over her powers made her one of the first mutants to volunteer for the "cure" in X-Men: The Last Stand.
