Eric 'Rick' Masters is a master counterfeiter based out of Los Angeles. He is also something of a "tortured artist," often burning his paintings once they're complete. Masters isn't afraid to show off the wealth that comes with the life of a professional criminal: he has a gorgeous performance artist girlfriend named Bianca, drives a black Ferrari and lives in a large house with a high-tech security system. He becomes increasingly more paranoid, unpredictable and violent after murdering the partner of Secret Service Agent Richard Chance, who will stop at nothing to bring Masters down.
