Parker Selfridge was the head administrator of the RDA's Unobtanium mining operations on Pandora. He is your usual near-soulless "company man," an extremely greedy corporate whip-cracker and a slave to the RDA shareholders, willing to condone murdering the Na'vi to get the job done. He refuses to deal with the Na'vi on human terms, often referring to them as "monkeys" or "savages." Selfridge seems to have a change of heart after the destruction of the Na'vi Hometree, revealing that he has something of a moral sense - unlike his military counterpart, Colonel Miles Quaritch. He and his employees were evicted from Pandora after the failure of the campaign to destroy the Tree of Souls.
