In 1939, Dr. Magnus Burke was the notorious administrator of Burke Asylum, a facility for "troubled" teenagers at which Burke practiced bizarre and sadistic treatments. The patients eventually mutinied and murdered Burke and the asylum was shut down. In the present day, a group of college students with a few skeletons in their closets discover that their dorm building at Richard Miller University was built right on the site of the old Burke Asylum... and the ghost of Burke himself is looking to continue "curing" the troubled kids. Soon, Burke is killing the students off one by one, mocking them as he forces them to face their deepest fears before they die. "Give me your suffering!"
