Dirty Details Done Dirt Cheap:
When introduced as a lovable but rather confused Chicago teenager, Kitty Pryde instantly brought out the big brother in all of us. Her appeal largely comes from her undying spirit and poise - and her ability to "phase," or become intangible and pass through solid objects, has made her a valuable and cherished member of the X-Men. When she first became aware of her powers, Kitty was approached by both Professor Xavier and Emma Frost, the White Queen of the Hellfire Club. She followed her natural tendencies to the good side of the X-Men and was initially assigned to the New Mutants with others her own age. Through her training, Kitty became such a formidable talent that the Professor placed her with the X-Men, where she was mentored in the samurai arts by Wolverine and fell in love with Colossus. Kitty has beguiled her teammates (and her fans) with her genuine charm, good nature and ability to stand up for herself, both verbally and physically. Now a mature, proud and admirable woman in the comics, Kitty has even started filling the role of heartbreaker. Here, Kitty Kitty!
