To say that Kim Bauer has a knack for getting into trouble is an understatement of epic proportions. Throughout her tenure as a supporting character on 24, Kim has been kidnapped at least half a dozen times; been arrested for suspicion of murder; been chased through the wilderness by a cougar; been terrorized in a bomb shelter by a crazed survivalist; and survived a nerve gas attack on CTU, amongst other mini-adventures. She has a strained and difficult relationship with her father, CTU superstar Jack Bauer, to say the least. By Day 7, Kim is married and has a daughter, Teri, named after Kim's late mother - Day 7 ends with Kim volunteering to undergo a dangerous surgical procedure and donate stem cells in an attempt to save her dying father after he is exposed to a deadly bio-weapon.
