On the surface, Jane Smith is the devoted but more than slightly bored and dissatisfied wife of John Smith. What lies beneath is a highly skilled assassin working for a private firm, a killer who's become disillusioned with her marriage and the lies it's based on. Little does Jane know that her husband John is also a skilled assassin working for another firm - and soon they're assigned to kill each other. What starts off as a rather macabre "job" turns into a series of incidents (including several elaborately choreographed and extremely destructive confrontations) that rekindles their passion for each other - indeed, who needs marriage counseling when you've got a submachine gun? Nobody!
