Cristal Connors is the star of "Goddess," the topless burlesque show at the Stardust in Las Vegas. She's intrigued by the new girl in town, Nomi Malone, a drifter who's stripping at the Cheetah. Cristal arranges for Nomi to audition for the Goddess show and soon the two women are sharing the stage. From there, they engage in a vicious rivalry, one made all the more complicated - and titillating - by Cristal's attraction to Nomi. Things take a particularly nasty turn when Nomi pushes Cristal down a flight of stairs, injuring her and probably ending her dance career. The hospitalized Cristal surprisingly takes it all in stride, though: "There's always someone younger and hungrier than you coming down the stairs after you." Hot.
