Corazon is a crew member of the Icarus II, a spacecraft carrying a stellar bomb the size of Manhattan that will be used to reignite the dying Sun. Corazon is the ship's biologist, tending after the large and elaborate "oxygen garden," an area teeming with various plant life that organically supplies the ship's oxygen. Compared to the rest of the crew, made up of scientists and professional astronauts, Corazon is somewhat more spiritual and something of a calming presence, though she spends most of her time alone in her garden. Corazon is eventually killed by the insane Pinbacker, captain of the Icarus I, which was dispatched to complete the same mission seven years ago but disappeared without a trace - until now.
