Dirty Details Done Dirt Cheap:
Chun-Li made her debut as one of the eight playable characters (and the only female) in the Street Fighter II video game. According to the game mythology, Chun-Li is an Interpol agent looking to avenge her father, an undercover police agent who disappeared while investigating the crime syndicate of the notorious M. Bison. Her most distinctive characteristics are her muscular thighs (as compared to her otherwise petite body) and the spiked bracelets on her wrists, and her signature move involves her repeatedly kicking her opponent while remaining in a tilted standing position. In the feature film Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, in which she is played by Kristin Kreuk, her mythology is changed to her being a "civilian" rather an Interpol agent.
