Annie Porter is one of maybe twenty people that actually takes public transportation in Los Angeles. She picked the wrong day to take the bus, though - her environmentally conscious (or economic, or whatever) decision to not drive a car in the smog-filled metropolis backfires on her when it's revealed that the bus is rigged to explode if it goes under 50 mph. Normally, it would take about two minutes for that bus to go boom (have you seen the traffic in L.A.?), but in the land of Hollywood, all it takes to set things right is Keanu Reeves. Annie actually ends up driving the bus - and ends up on a boat in Speed 2: Cruise Control, in a similar kind of situation. We'd hate to see what happened if she ever got on a plane.
