Created in the mid-1980s, Captain Confederacy was an alternate history superhero book about a world in which the Confederate States of America won the Civil War. Though the book was critical of the Confederacy and its ideals, we’re still guessing that a superhero with the Confederate flag plastered on him wouldn’t really fly.
