For Chicago's Common, his career has been everything but ordinary. The 36 year-old rap vet got his career started in 1992 and while many of his peers' own careers have sputtered, Common is still going strong. The rapper/actor has long been heralded as one of Hip-Hop's most conscious and lyrically adept MCs. With hits like "The Light," "Go" and "Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip-Hop)" Common has demonstrated an ability to make songs with substance, that also manage to become hits.
To mark the impending release of his 8th LP, Universal Mind Control, UGO.com celebrates this ageless MC's albums, videos and film roles.
