Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson is a legend for his contributions to the heavy metal genre, but the singer is much more than a one-trick pony. He started his musical career during his tenure at Queen Mary College, and despite his hard-charging lifestyle has managed to maintain one of the most diverse set of hobbies a metalhead could concieve of. In addition to writing two satirical novels about a British landlord, Dickinson founded a successful fencing supply company, developed expertise in some obscure areas of railway technology and sometimes pilots 757s for English charter airline Astraeus.
