Playwright/Screenwriter/Director/Dramatic Mastermind David Mamet began his Atlantic Theater Company in 1985 with William H. Macy, and a handful of eager young actors from New York University.

And like any good mentor, he's helped nurture the careers of those actors. Would Clark Gregg be That Guy without his work with Mamet? Probably, but he may not have made his screen debut as the stage manager in Mamet's second film Things Change.
