Attack of the Clones takes place ten years after the events of The Phantom Menace. After an assassination attempt on the life of Senator Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman), Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) are sent to investigate. The two Jedi embark on two different missions: Anakin is sent to Naboo with Padme and Obi-Wan is sent to the planet of Kamino, where he will investigate the assassination attempts, which has a connection with a separtist movement lead by a rogue Jedi, Count Dooku (Christopher Lee), against the Republic. Civil war is at hand, and Anakin finds himself being drawn closer and closer to the Dark Side of the Force - and closer to Amidala, breaking the Jedi code of celibacy. Opened May 16th, 2002.
