Bringing back the old-school biological horror is Splice, directed by Vincenzo Natali. When two scientists (Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley) decide to combine human DNA with decidedly non-human DNA for the purprose of genetic research, the results are not what they expected. Splice is a sci-fi horror film with a sexy antagonist who shows us that science can make mistakes.
