Director Ridley Scott finally returns to the sci-fi genre and based on this trailer we're more than happy to welcome him back.

The trailer for Ridley Scott's highly anticipated science fiction epic has landed and, for a lack of better words, it looks awesome. Prometheus follows a group of explorers who are searching to discover the origins of humanity on Earth, but as expected, things go horribly wrong and now they have to fight for the future of the human race. There's been a lot of chatter about this being a prequel to the iconic Alien franchise, so watch the trailer and let us know if you think they're connected!
