It's slightly hard to believe but Brad Bird, whose career mostly involves writing and directing animated fare, will be taking over the Mission: Impossible franchise. That's right, Mission: Impossible IV will be filmed with Bird in the director's chair and Tom Cruise is fully on board to star again. While not much is known about this final installment, Mission: Impossible IV is slated for a late 2011 release.
