In Avengers #4 the legendary Captain America is freed from the ice and helps The Avengers. If you picked up The Incredible Hulk on DVD or blu-ray (and you should), then you need to check out the extended introduction. There's a nice (albeit very quick) surprise connecting to the source material. If you're quick enough you can actually spot the trapped body of Captain America trapped in the ice.
