One of the strangest and most true-to-its-own-vision big budget pictures to come out in the last few years is Zack Snyder's Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole.

I genuinely loved the picture, not just for its strange tone, but because I'd never seen beautiful 3D animation like this. The work done by the Australian animation house Animal Logic rivals the images you'll see in Avatar.

Our friends at Warner Bros. have given us this fun peek into the process of making a film like this. Basically, it looks like a bunch of Australians running around pretending they are birds.
