An animated feature by Walt Disney Studios, King of the Elves is set for a December 2012 release. The movie will be based upon the original short story by Philip K. Dick, in which a band of elves declare a human their new king. Though the story was written in 1953, the film King of the Elves will take place in modern times near the Mississippi Delta.
