I have to be honest. I figured by now, animators could plug in a few numbers, pick a color, and BAM - animated fire. Animated anything, really. OK, I have absolutely no grasp on how animated films are made. But that doesn't mean I can't enjoy them!

How to Train Your Dragon is a dazzling film (for more gushing, read our review), and for a dragon enthusiast like myself, watching a skew if species set the screen aflame was something of a dream come true. We've got an exclusive clip on how the animators painstakingly created the fire effects from Dragons that hightened my enjoyment of the movie, while also allowing me to make more intelligent (sounding) conversation when talking about animation.
