Based on the book of the same name, Diary of a Wimpy Kid combines live action with animation to tell the story of a middle school student dealing with peers and parents. Not only does Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) have to deal with an older brother from hell but he also has to navigate a friendship with a friend dorky enough to get them both beaten up and kicked out of the cool club.
