Lazenby was the first to follow Connery's five-picture run as James Bond, and to prove that there was nothing wrong with new, On Her Majesty's Secret Service kicks off with a dark fight scene between Bond and a couple of shadowy assailants. This isn't the Bond you were used to, as evidenced by the girl driving away, leaving Bond stranded on the beach, forced to break the fourth wall with the quip, "this never happened to the other fella."

Bond: so badass, he's able to transcend reality.
