One of the iconic weapons of the Final Fantasy series, the gunblade may look absurd at first glance, but it actually manages to kick a fair amount of ass. First seen in Final Fantasy VIII, it's typically used as a melee weapon, but once you've embedded the sword in some poor chump's sternum you can pull the trigger and discharge some hot lead for good measure. A variety of different models have turned up throughout the many games, but our personal fave is the Velvet Nightmare from Advent Children.
