Back before everybody thought that playing D&D was a one-way ticket to Satan worship and being ritually sacrificed in the woods, they actually made a Saturday morning cartoon based on the classic role-playing game. Dungeons & Dragons featured a group of teens sucked into the fantasy world through a cursed amusement park ride and they each took on one of the class archetypes. Their nemesis was the evil wizard Venger, voiced by the legendary Peter Cullen, who wanted to seize their magical weapons and basically kill them, to the Dungeon Master's chagrin.
